Safely Removing a Wasp Nest
Occurred on September 7, 2020 / Sebring, Florida, USA
Info from Licensor: "I was recording my mom who is 70 years old. We live in Florida, so wasps building a nest on the outside of the house is common. We had to get the nest at night, when all the wasps were sleeping. A clear cup is best so you can see where the wasps are. Once captured, the wasps were taken to a wooded area about 2 miles down the road. We put the cup sideways on the ground and took off the lid. The wasps were so distraught, they flew out to the trees and we just walked away. In the morning, we drove back to the spot we left the cup and picked it up because we don't litter. We do not use any type of sprays or poison."
